UpCountry Garden Centre Christmas Weekender in aid of Chailey Heritage.

UpCountry Garden Centre will be holding its festive celebration on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 in aid of the Chailey Heritage School. The Scaynes Hill centre will feature a display of Christmas trees, decorations, and lights, as well as Santa’s magical train.

The weekend is set to offer festive food tastings, Christmas choir and a visit from Santa Claus, who will be handing out Christmas presents from 11am to 3pm on both days. Visitors can take a ride on the train as well as a range of other fun festive activities.

Jason Payne, garden centre manager, said: “Christmas is an amazing time, especially for our younger visitors, and as big kids ourselves we’ve had great fun building our best Christmas experience ever.

“We can’t wait to welcome all our visitors aboard Santa’s Festive Express.” and delighted to Chailey Heritage with all funds raised by the festive activities will be going to the School, which helps children with complex learning disabilities.

Mark Ashworth the vicar at Holy Trinity said “what a wonderful way to celebrate our planet and care for the environment, planting trees on tree week.Thanks to High Hurstwood primary  school,the grant we received from the Tree Council and UpCountry for helping to supply and plant our trees.
